Knit and Natter
Knit and Natter is a friendly social group that meets weekly at Karama Library. Whether you are an experienced crafter or just starting out, you are welcome to join. It is a great way to meet people, enjoy a relaxed morning and learn new skills.
Bring your own knitting needles and some 8 ply acrylic yarn. Our regular volunteers are happy to help beginners learn the basics of knitting or crochet. No bookings are required, just drop in.
As well as creating your own projects, you can help make blankets and items for Wrap with Love, a program that donates handmade blankets to people experiencing hardship around the world. It is a meaningful way to use your skills while connecting with others in the local community.
When and Where
Every Monday at 9:00 am at Karama Library.
Sessions do not run on public holidays.
All materials are provided for charity knitting or bring your own for personal projects. Morning tea is often shared and everyone is welcome.
