DiGiT (Darwin Interactive Games & Innovative Technologies) is the Northern Territory’s new creative tech festival, a flagship event showcasing the future of play, creativity, and technology. Presented by The Array under its pillars LEARN. MAKE. PLAY., DiGiT is a high-energy, multi-sensory celebration of the digital frontier, Territory-style.

Taking over the AANT Centre on Saturday 8 November 2025, DiGiT brings together creative tech, gaming, innovation and culture into one high-energy, inclusive, hands-on day of discovery and inspiration.

LEARN
Audiences will explore the cutting edge of digital creativity through hands-on workshops, panels, and talks led by national thought leaders and local innovators. From AI-powered storytelling and funding your big idea to practical sessions on pitching, prototyping, and digital careers, the LEARN zone brings together artists, educators, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of creative technology. Highlights include the EdTech & AI Panel, Funding Your Idea, and Find Your Space in the Digital Industries sessions, alongside classroom-style workshops in animation, coding, and creative tools.

MAKE
Where creativity collides with technology. The MAKE zone transforms the venue into a living gallery, with interactive digital art, 3D sculpture displays, and a showcase of indie developers and Territory makers. Visit the Artist Alley, explore Mad Snake Retreat and VR world, and meet the creators behind projects featured in NT Digital Week at The Array. Expect app demos, playable prototypes, and exhibits that push the boundaries of design, sound, and storytelling.

PLAY
The pulse of DiGiT. The PLAY zone delivers a full day of esports, gaming, and live entertainment, including AES TEKKEN grand finals, NT vs. QLD League of Legends watch Party, digital tabletop games, cosplay competitions and parades, and arcade activations across multiple zones. The Good Dog Animal Assistance Chill-Out Lounge offers a relaxed space to connect, recharge, and create. With Anime feature film ‘Spirited Away’ showing in the playhouse, live music and k-pop dancing, PLAY celebrates everything vibrant, inclusive, and uniquely Territory about our scene.
