The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is the governing body for drone and model aircraft use in Australia. If you are looking to fly a drone in and around the Darwin municipality you should be familiar with these regulations.

Use of drones and other unmanned aircrafts on City of Darwin owned land are subject to CASA rules and regulations. This includes but is not limited to

  • road reserves

  • car parks
