Risk Management & Audit Committee

Membership is:

  • Two Community Representatives with one of those Community Representatives being the Chairman. 
  • TwoAlderman one of whom is a member of the Corporate & Economic Development Committee

 


The Committee’s Purpose:

The Council assigns the following program profiles to the Committee for the purpose of considering and reporting back to the Council with recommended action:

  • the follow up of issues arising from internal and external audits;
  • the management of outstanding and completed audit issues registers; and
  • the receipt and acceptance of strategic and operational risk assessments.

 


Meeting Frequency:

Quarterly meetings.

 


Delegation:

The power to make recommendations to Council and decisions of a minor nature relating to Risk Managment and Audit matters within the approved budget.
