Membership is:

  • Lord Mayor.
  • Four Alderman one of whom will be elected Chairman.

 


Committee’s Purpose:

The Council assigns the following program profiles to the Committee for the purpose of considering and reporting back to the Council with recommended action:

  • Asset Management
  • Building Services
  • Cemeteries
  • Mosquito control
  • Operations
  • Parks & Reserves
  • Pathways
  • Road maintenance
  • Sporting Areas
  • Stormwater Drainage Maintenance
  • Street Cleaning
  • Urban Forest Management
  • Infrastructure Projects
  • General Manager Infrastructure
  • Design
  • Planning
  • Road Construction and Traffic Management
  • Urban Enhancement
  • Climate Change and Environment
  • Waste Management

Composition of the Environment and Infrastructure Committee be aligned as near as possible to representation on such Committee’s as the CBD Parking Advisory Committee, Climate Change and Environment Advisory Committee.

 


Meeting Frequency:

Monthly meetings.

 


Delegation:

The power to make recommendations to Council and decisions of a minor nature relating to Environmental and Infrastructure matters within the approved budget.
